Cosmoledo Atoll, Seychelles
The Seychelles, located in the eastern Indian Ocean, consists of 41 spectacular granite islands (the cultural hub of the nation) and 74 sparkling sand cays and out-of-the-way atolls. There are more than 100 atolls and islands which are scattered over an area of some 1,400,000 square kilometres. These mostly coral atolls and islands offer the fly-fisherman the opportunity to stalk a multitude of fish species on the flats (which are a combination of grass and hard sand), which range from bonefish to huge giant kingfish (travally) ranging up to weights of over 100 lbs.
Although most of the smaller atolls close to the main island Mahe have been fished extensively by  fly-fishermen over the past few years, the atolls just north of Madagascar have not, and now that anglers have fished these atolls, the word is out: the fishing at atolls like Cosmoledo, Astove and Assumption is nothing short of mind-blowing. These Indian Ocean jewels will fulfill your wildest fishing fantasies.
All the staff members at Frontier Fly Fishing have extensive fly-fishing experience on these atolls, and will again be leading fully-guided ventures to the remote atolls of Cosmoledo and Astove in November 2010. We also have three trips planned to Cosmoledo and Astove in March and April 2011.
